There are numerous things to consider when taking pictures in the kind of weather.  1. Be careful about the exposure.

During bright sunny days, the sun can be extremely bright, especially at noon time. That means you will need to protect your shots from being overexposed by raising the shutter speed or diminishing the aperture. Both these functions affect the amount of light coming through the lens. So don't be surprised if you have to raise your shutter speed to 1/1000s or even 1/1500s to get the shot you aim for as it may be required on a very bright day.

2. Shoot within the golden hours.

Some subjects look their best when light falls on them aesthetically from the sides. That's why sunrise and sunset are said to be the golden hours to take the most beautiful shots. At noon time, the sun shines directly on top of the head and may cast dark shadows on your subject. That's why it's a good idea to wait an hour or two for the sun to move just a bit across the horizon, so you can get appropriate lighting to shoot your subject in.

3. Get a diffuser for better pictures.

Here's another alternative to combat those bright rays from the sun. A lot of professional photographers like Andy Hayes go for a diffuser when there's too much harsh and direct light falling on their subjects. They either carry a professional diffuser setup with them, or they create one by using simple materials one can get from a nearby all-purpose store. You can either build a wooden frame with a sheet stretched out across it, or you can try running some diffusing fabric across a wire hoop. It won't cost you that much to build it, and a diffuser can make all the difference when it comes to shooting on those brightly lit days.
